Philosophy

These looks from Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti (a Milan transfer) were right up my aisle - she and Miuccia Prada are both what I would call "intelligent designers" - they design for the smart girls who read Marx and like to look pretty. Especially Prada, as everyone knows. There are no great revelations to be had here, just some lovely fifties-inspired clothes.


I love the vintage air of this coat.


These pieces are both very striking...the emerald green suit is particularly gorgeous.


How cute are those puff sleeves! This is a great layered look.
