The city that never sleeps

I leave tonight for Manhattan...mostly to attend a conference, but you can be sure I'll have plenty of time for museums and a bit of shopping. I can't wait! I just hope that I make it there - the weather is about as inclement as it gets at the moment, though thankfully much warmer than it has been, and my flight is already delayed an hour.
